The possibility of playing Project R.I.S.E again this year has now been directly ruled out by Supercell. The clarification came on the game’s official Discord after a player enthusiastically mentioned September 19.
A Supercell employee quickly corrected that expectation. According to the message, nothing is planned for September 19 and the team is still discussing and planning the next steps for the project.
That statement effectively rules out another public phase for Project R.I.S.E during the final months of 2026.
Project R.I.S.E could return in 2027 at the earliest
Supercell’s message provides the clearest indication yet of the project’s timeline. The studio representative explained that Project R.I.S.E will not be publicly playable again until next year at the earliest.
“Whaaaat? Ain’t nothing happening on the 19th. We’re still discussing next steps and planning. Game won’t be publicly playable again until next year at the earliest.”
With that wording, 2027 now becomes the earliest possible window for the game to return publicly. However, the phrase “at the earliest” remains important, as it does not turn 2027 into a firm release date.
